Looking for a special gift for that someone special in your life?
Give the gift of peace of mind this holiday season. If you have a loved one who has a family history of stroke or heart disease, or smokes, or is 55 years or older, they may be at risk for peripheral vascular disease. Peripheral Vascular disease affects more than 8 million Americans and puts people at a two to six times greater chance of death from a heart attack or stroke.
Peripheral Vascular Screening
Peripheral vascular screenings at The Chester County Hospital can easily detect the presence of peripheral vascular disease with three painless, non-invasive tests that take only 30 minutes. The tests include an abdominal aortic aneurysm screening, an ultrasound review of the carotid arteries and an ankle-brachial index to screen for peripheral vascular disease of the legs. All tests are performed by certified Chester County Hospital technologists and all results are interpreted by a board certified vascular surgeon and member of The Chester County Hospital Medical Staff. The results will be available to the patient and may be sent to primary care physicians on request.
Peripheral vascular screening gift cards are available for $79 and can be purchased in the CardioVascular Center on the Second Floor of the Hospital.
For the friend/family member who has everything, or who you think may be at risk, give the gift that will show you care and give them peace of mind.
