A member of the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Network, The Cancer Program of The Chester County Hospital offers cancer patients the latest advances in cancer treatment close to home, near their family and friends.

Navigating the Cancer Care Process
The cancer treatment process can be a complex and confusing journey for patients and their families. We have the patient support services in place to help assist and guide our cancer patients and their families throughout their experience with the disease. Serving as a link between our patients, physicians,and services, our breast and cancer care coordinators are dedicated to providing the appropriate education, support and resources to help our cancer patients manage their care.
Commission on Cancer
The Cancer Program of the Chester County Hospital is a Commission on Cancer approved cancer program. The Chester County Hospital has maintained approval by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons since 1978 and continues to commit itself to the Commission's high quality standards.
National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers
The Breast Health Program at The Chester County Hospital and Health System has been granted a full, three-year accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons. Accreditation by the NAPBC is only given to those centers that have voluntarily committed to provide the highest level of quality breast care and that undergo a rigorous evaluation process and review of their performance. A breast center that achieves NAPBC accreditation has demonstrated a firm commitment to offer its patients every significant advantage in their battle against breast disease.
Penn Cancer Network
The Cancer Program at The Chester County Hospital has chosen to become a member of the Penn Cancer Network because The Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania is one of a select group of nationwide facilities designated by the National Cancer Institute as a Comprehensive Cancer Center. This prestigious designation reflects excellence in cancer treatment, research, clinical services, education, information services, and community outreach.
The American Cancer Society
The Cancer Program of The Chester County Hospital and Health System and the American Cancer Society maintain a joint collaboration plan for research, supportive services for patients, and prevention/early detection programs.
