Patients with diabetes should have routine appointments for:

  • Annual physical exams - Annual flu vaccine
  • Annual dilated eye exam - Biannual dental exam
  • Annual comprehensive foot exam - Quarterly blood pressure evaluation
  • Annual kidney testing - Biannual/Quarterly Hemoglobin A1c test
  • Annual lipid profile
