Knitting and Crocheting Project
Once a month a group of enthusiastic, talented yarn masters gather to create beautiful knitted and crocheted items for Hospital patients. The group specializes in baby hats, chemo caps, NICU "lovey" squares, pink breast cancer awareness scarves and red cardiovascular health scarves. These handmade creations bring comfort and support to patients while allowing the volunteers to directly contribute to the well being of the patients. The Volunteer Department is proud to host the monthly knit/crochet tea on the second Thursday of each month from 1 - 3 pm in Conference Room A of The Chester County Hospital. Patterns for scarves, baby hats and chemo caps are available in Volunteer Services if you or someone you know would be interested in supporting our patients through knitting/crocheting. For more information, or to RSVP for a tea, call 610-431-5919.
