This 10-minute non-invasive computerized tomography (CT) study detects deposits of plaque in the walls of the heart. These deposits are an early sign of heart disease and can identify if a person is at increased risk for heart attack.

Fee: $129
The Calcium Score test is currently not covered by most insurance companies and is therefore a self pay test. The test can be ordered by any physician using the CTA Order Form or the Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Department Order Sheet.
