At The CardioVascular Center at The Chester County Hospital, we focus on patients and incorporate new paradigms in the treatment of cardiovascular disease. Our goal is the prevention and treatment of heart disease through a comprehensive approach that takes into consideration each individual patient's lifestyle, risk factors, and medical history.
Nicholas Vaganos, MD
We seek to assist our patients and their referring physicians in the continuum of cardiovascular care from primary prevention to early diagnosis, timely intervention, aggressive rehabilitation, and secondary prevention. Our goal is to become a resource for doctors and patients by providing a multi-disciplinary approach to a lifetime of disease management.
The organizing principle of the Center is to offer services that are personalized, integrated, streamlined, and seamless, without arbitrary differentiation between medicine and surgery, inpatient and outpatient, and prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. We strive to offer patients and their doctors a congenial atmosphere and easy access to this full spectrum of services for the management of cardiovascular disease.
Finally, the Center is a locus for the advancement of knowledge and for education about cardiovascular disease for doctors and patients. By participating in clinical studies and collaborating with national and international leaders in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart disease, the Center brings the expertise of nationally recognized cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, and other health professionals to the care of its patients.
