When a Heart Attack Begins - Minutes Count (FREE)
Heart attacks don't just happen, they have beginnings. If these "Beginnings" are recognized in time, treatment can begin before the heart is damaged. Learn from our panel of experts about the early signs of heart attack and the benefits of receiving immediate care from emergency medical services.
Hands on Hearts - Hands-Only CPR Training (FREE)
Would you know what to do if you saw someone suddenly collapse? Increase your confidence and reduce your hesitation in an emergency by being trained in Hands-Only CPR. Interactive training sessions are held every 45 minutes.
Heart Healthy Wellness Programs
For a healthy heart, you need a healthy lifestyle. Take a look at these Wellness Programs to keep you feeling well all year long.
This class, taught by a registered dietitian, offers realistic success strategies to meet the needs of busy people struggling with unwanted weight gain. The 8-week paid program is preceded by a FREE introductory class. The program fee is $100, but check with your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Stop Smoking Now! Smoking Cessation Program
This seven-week cessation program helps you develop a plan to become a nonsmoker through a combination of education, behavior modification and relaxation techniques. Over-the-counter nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) is provided at no cost.
Almost 60 million Americans have pre-diabetes, but unfortunately only 7% are aware they have it. Come to this two hour program to learn more about pre-diabetes and to get the tools you need to change your lifestyle and reduce your risk of getting Type 2 diabetes.
