National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP)

Continues for 16 Wednesdays.
You must meet the requirements for this class. An instructor will contact you to review your eligibility.
The cost includes the six follow up sessions that occur after the 16 weeks. A discounted fitness option
is offered through the YMCA.

One in three adults lives with prediabetes. If you have prediabetes, you are 5-15 times more likely to develop type 2 diabetes. The National Diabetes Prevention Program showed that type 2 diabetes can be prevented or delayed with a healthy lifestyle. If you are at high risk, or already have prediabetes, you qualify for this year-long program which includes 16-weekly sessions followed by 6-8 monthly sessions.
To participate in the NDPP, a person must be overweight and have prediabetes, or be at high risk.
