The VolunTEEN program*, for those ages 14 to 18 years old, takes place on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8:30 am to 12 noon. The teens perform a variety of tasks throughout the Hospital, including making beds, filling water pitchers, running errands, delivering flowers and escorting patients.
The teen program is overseen by adult VolunTEEN Coordinators who not only assign and manage their duties, but also mentor students during their volunteer experience. Many teens also volunteer at the annual Hospital May Festival.
*The Volunteen program is currently full. At this time, no new names are being added to the waiting list for the Teen program.
