Skin Changes

Many skin changes that you may experience during and after pregnancy are a result of an increase of hormones.

  • The blotchy appearance of your face and dark line on your lower abdomen should dissapear gradually during the months following childbirth.
  • Vericose veins can be helped with recommended leg elevation and the use of support stockings when walking or standing for the first 6 weeks following childbirth.
