Prepared Childbirth: Four-Week Series

This is a four week series. There will be no class on May 27th (Memorial Day).
This four week series is offered once a week for 2 ½ hours. The goal of the class is to provide valuable tools to expectant parents in preparation for the birth experience. The program includes discussion on the stages of labor, role of the coach, relaxation and breathing techniques, medications, (including epidurals), birth options, cesarean births, postpartum issues, and newborn routines. A tour of the Maternity Unit is included.
Recommended for first-time parents. Best taken during the 7th month of pregnancy.
Special Instruction: Couples need to bring two pillows and wear comfortable clothing for breathing practice on floor mats. Please feel free to bring drink/snacks with you to class.
Fee: $85.00/couple
