The Chester County Hospital takes an active role in protecting the health of our community through programs offered both on the hospital campus and at community-based facilities. We are proud to offer programs specifically designed to improve the health of women by using evidence-based guidelines for prevention and/or early intervention strategies to address health and well-being.
Registered Dietitians are available by appointment for individual counseling to assess and educate you on a variety of nutrition concerns related to women's health, including weight management, osteoporosis and menopausal symptom management. Women experiencing chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer, will benefit from individualized counseling and medical nutrition therapy.
Interactive instruction by a team of Registered Dietitians is available as a comprehensive non-diet program that focuses on behavioral management of overeating, development of critical habits, and skills to facilitate success and exercise.
Women who want to learn more about how to select appropriate products, read labels, and separate fact from fiction about nutrition information will enjoy traveling the aisles with a Registered Dietitian.
