Meal Planning

Meal PlanningMeals are served three times daily. Upon admission, after your diet is established, you will receive a daily menu to make selections for your next meal and the following days. In most instances, your first meal will be "non-selected" or "pre-selected," according to your specific diet requirement. Please be aware that your meals may be modified based on your physician's order. Your physician, along with a registered dietitian, is responsible for your nutritional care. Together they will assess your nutritional status and plan your diet to meet your special needs while hospitalized and after your discharge.

Meals that are delayed because of tests or X-rays will be served at the request of your nurse.

Guest Trays
Guest trays may be ordered upon your request to the nursing staff by 11 am for lunch and 4 pm for dinner. There is a charge of $5.30 for each guest tray.

Visitor Dining
Family and visitors may dine in the Hospital's Cafeteria, located on the first floor, or enjoy a snack or beverage from the vending area, located across from the cafeteria. Cafeteria hours are aired on Channel 2, our Patient Information Channel.
