Stacey J. Kuhns, MD
Dr. Kuhns received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, with a minor in Religion, from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA and received her Doctorate of Medicine from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her internship and residency training in Family Medicine at York Hospital in York, PA and is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Integrative Holistic Medicine.
Lisa F. Parviskhan, D.O.
Dr. Parviskhan is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine.
She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Rutgers University. Before medical school, she worked for several years in research at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where she also completed post-baccalaureate study in immunology and advanced cellular biology. She graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1991 and then completed her internship in Internal Medicine at the University and Dentistry of New Jersey. She went on to complete her Family Medicine residency at the Philadelphia Hospital of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994.
Dr. Parviskhan has a compassionate approach to care integrating traditional medicine with complementary medicine with an emphasis on prevention and education. She believes in treating the "whole person" taking into account the individual's physical, nutritional, environmental, social and spiritual needs. She encourages her patients to take an active role in achieving and maintaining their own good health and sense of well being.
Dr. Parviskhan is actively involved in educating her community about making healthy lifestyle changes that are sustainable and vital to good health and longevity. She volunteers at a local community garden that provides hands on education on how to grow organic food, teaches the youth and adults about healthy food choices and provides freshly grown organic foods for the local food bank.
She developed and facilitated an adolescent girls group that was held for several years in the Downingtown area. She educated adolescent girls on issues such as positive self esteem, peer pressure, eating disorders and other challenges they faced so that they were empowered to make healthy choices.
When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, gardening and photography.
Rashna K. Staid, M.D.
Dr. Staid received her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and her Doctorate of Medicine from SUNY-Health Science Center-College of Medicine in Syracuse, New York. She then completed her internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at The Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She recently became a Diplomat of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine.
Prior to moving to Pennsylvania in 2005, she was the Practice Leader in an Integrative Health Center in Wellesley, Massachusetts. She specializes in Preventive Medicine with a mind-body approach to the patient, while blending traditional and complementary medicine to optimize a patient's care. Dr. Staid has special interests in nutrition, thyroid and other hormonal disorders, stress management and Women's health. Dr. Staid was named by Main Line Magazine as a Top Doctor in 2007 and most recently in 2013. She has served on the ACAC Fitness & Wellness Center's Health Advisory Board since 2006.
Dr. Staid lives in Malvern with her husband and 2 children. She enjoys spending time with her family, healthy cooking, exercising, and traveling.
