Diabetes Day 2013: Heart-to-Heart Conversations for Heart Healthy Living

"It can't be a heart attack. It must be something else." Heart attacks do have beginnings, and knowing these early warning signs can save your life. Individuals living with diabetes have a much increased risk of developing heart disease. This unique half-day program offers the opportunity to meet and talk "heart-to heart" with physicians, nurses,dietitians, diabetes supply vendors and others with information to help you live well with your diabetes.
Registration: 8:30 - 9 am

Special presentations on a variety of wellness related topics are offered on the Hospital campus and at various community sites throughout the year. Topics are selected to provide a broad array of subjects including "hot topics" in the news and ways to manage specific health conditions. Lectures and special events offer the opportunity to meet our medical and allied health professional staff and learn about hospital services of interest to you.
